So many Taxpayers who filed ITR before updation of ITR Utility have received Income Tax Demand Notices.

Now ever since this issue came, there has been no word from department that why this Utility Change was made at first place. [All we have is screenshots from reply by Infosys and different expert opinion]

Now there is a confusion where Taxpayers should pay the demand or not?

Morally, at least demands for ITRs filed before the updation of Utility should be processed and there should be no Demand.

Requesting Income Tax to issue a circular. So that the confused taxpayers can take appropriate decision.
