Breaking: GST Return Deadlines for GSTR-1 and GSTR-3B extended

Noting the various technical glitches being faced by the taxpayers and tax professionals, GST Return Deadlines for GSTR-1 and GSTR-3B has been extended by the Central Board of Indirect Taxes and Customs (CBIC) by Two Days.

The GSTR 1 due date for monthly Taxpayers has been extended to 13th January 2025 and for (Quarterly Return monthly payment) QRMP taxpayers, it has been extended to 15th January 2025. Earlier the Due date was 11th January 2025 for monthly Taxpayers and 13th January 2025 for QRMP taxpayers.

The GSTR-3B due date for monthly Taxpayers has also been extended to 22nd January 2025 and for (Quarterly Return monthly payment) QRMP taxpayers, it has been extended to 24th/26th January 2025. Earlier the Due date was 20th January 2025 for monthly Taxpayers and 22nd/24th January 2025 for QRMP taxpayers.
