GST Council Extends Due date of filing GST Annual Return GSTR9, GSTR9A & GSTR9C by a month from June 30, 2019 to July 31, 2019.

It is suggested that the proposed date for filing returns in FORM GSTR- 9, FORM GSTR- 9A and reconciliation statement in FORM GSTR- 9C may be extended in a staggered manner, as follows:

The same may be implemented by issuance or removal of difficulties (ROD) orders under section 172 of CGST Act. Similar orders would also be required to be issued by the states.
